My progress

So far this year I have helped provide:

$200 Raised

funded one hour of research to work on finding a cure for kids' cancer

$600 Raised

funded a global cancer specialist to consult on better treatment for three kids

$1000 Raised

funded an gene panel analysis for three kids with brain cancer

Help me create a BETTER future for kids with cancer.... and maybe lose some weight doing it!

90 children are diagnosed with cancer each month in Australia. As many as 90% of kids who survive will develop one or more chronic health conditions.

We’ve got to find a better way to help them.

That’s why I am taking action. This September, I will log 90km of movement to help raise money for cancer treatments that are kinder, gentler and more effective.

Please support me by making a tax-deductible donation to The Kids’ Cancer Project.

5 Days In - 25% done

Monday 5th Sep
5 Days in now and Ive completed 25% of my 90km goal.  Im feeling a bit more energetic and even got through my first game of cricket in 15 years on Saturday without TOO many aches and pains.

Twice in one day!

Thursday 1st Sep
Added a quick 3km evening walk around Forrest while waiting for Alysandra at the Australian Girls' Choir.... including a stroll past Albo's house and great views of parliament house.

Day 1 done

Thursday 1st Sep
They say the first step is the hardest.... but thats done now.  Just under 4km done this morning in the better part of an hour.  Hardest part was getting up and getting out in the cold at 5:30am, but feel better for having done it.
